This Classic Tiramisu features rich mascarpone, espresso-soaked ladyfingers, and cocoa dusting—a simple no-bake Italian dessert everyone loves.
Ingredients
6 large egg yolks
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 cup mascarpone cheese
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
2 cups brewed espresso
2 tbsp coffee liqueur (optional)
24–30 ladyfingers
Unsweetened cocoa powder
Dark chocolate shavings (optional)
Instructions
1. Whisk egg yolks and sugar over simmering water
2. Beat mascarpone cheese smooth
3. Whip heavy cream to stiff peaks
4. Fold mascarpone into egg yolk mixture, then fold in whipped cream
5. Mix espresso and coffee liqueur
6. Dip ladyfingers briefly and layer in dish
7. Spread half mascarpone mixture over ladyfingers
8. Repeat layers
9. Refrigerate at least 4 hours
10. Dust with cocoa powder and garnish before serving
Notes
Use pasteurized eggs for safety or substitute whipped cream only.
Do not soak ladyfingers too long to prevent sogginess.
