Ingredients
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
1/2 cup unsalted butter
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
3 large eggs
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease and line an 8-inch round pan.
2. Melt chocolate and butter together until smooth.
3. Stir in sugar, salt, and vanilla. Cool slightly.
4. Add eggs one at a time, whisking well.
5. Sift in cocoa powder, stir until combined.
6. Pour batter into pan, smooth top.
7. Bake 20–25 minutes until center is set.
8. Cool 10 minutes, invert onto plate.
9. Dust with powdered sugar or serve as desired.
