Description

These Garlic Butter Noodles are rich, flavorful, and ready in under 20 minutes. Perfect for a quick dinner or as a side to grilled meats or seafood.

Ingredients

Scale

8 oz spaghetti or linguine

6 tbsp unsalted butter

5 cloves garlic, minced

2 tbsp olive oil

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Salt to taste

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

1/2 cup reserved pasta water

Instructions

1. Cook pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water and drain.

2. In a skillet, melt butter with olive oil over medium heat.

3. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1–2 minutes.

4. Stir in 1/4 cup pasta water to emulsify the sauce.

5. Toss cooked pasta in the skillet until coated.

6. Add Parmesan, black pepper, and salt. Toss again.

7. Garnish with parsley and optional red pepper flakes. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a spicier version, add extra red pepper flakes or fresh chili.

Can be served as a main dish or side.

Best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
