Ingredients
2 ¾ cups (330g) all-purpose flour

½ teaspoon salt
1 cup (230g) unsalted butter, softened
1 ½ cups (300g) granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ cup (120ml) eggnog
½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
Extra granulated sugar (for rolling)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.
2. Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
3. Beat butter and sugar until fluffy, add egg and vanilla, then mix in dry ingredients with eggnog.
4. Roll dough into 1-inch balls, coat in sugar, and place 2 inches apart on sheet.
5. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges set, keeping centers soft.
6. Cool for 5 minutes on sheet, then transfer to rack.
