Description

Million Dollar Ravioli Casserole is a rich, cheesy baked pasta dish layered with creamy ricotta, tangy sour cream, and savory marinara. Packed with flavor and easy to make, it’s perfect for weeknights or family gatherings. This hearty comfort food delivers a restaurant-quality taste with minimal effort, making it an instant crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

Scale

1 (25 oz) package frozen cheese ravioli – The star of the dish; can swap with meat-filled ravioli

1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce – Rich tomato flavor to complement the creamy layers

8 oz cream cheese, softened – Adds a velvety texture

1 cup sour cream – Tangy richness

1 cup ricotta cheese – Classic creamy filling

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese – Gooey topping

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese – Salty, nutty punch

1 tsp Italian seasoning – Oregano, basil, thyme blend

½ tsp garlic powder – Enhances savory notes

Fresh basil or parsley (optional) – For garnish

Cooking spray or olive oil – To grease the baking dish

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

2. In a bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, ricotta, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder. Mix until smooth.

3. Spread half of the marinara sauce in the dish. Layer half of the ravioli, then half of the creamy mixture. Sprinkle with 1 cup mozzarella.

4. Layer remaining ravioli, then creamy mixture, then remaining marinara sauce. Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.

5. Cover with foil and bake 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10-15 minutes until bubbly and golden.

6. Let rest 5 minutes, then garnish with chopped basil or parsley. Serve hot.

Notes

– Can use fresh ravioli; reduce bake time by ~10 minutes.

– Add cooked ground beef, sausage, or vegetables for variation.

– Cottage cheese can replace ricotta if needed.
